Which healthcare tools does Startpunt offer?

The following healthcare tools can be borrowed through Startpunt: wheelchairs, bedside commodes, shower stools/chairs, bed risers, backrests, bed cradles, bedpans, and a toilet seat riser. We generally have plenty of these tools in stock. You can pick them up right away. The Medipoint website contains an overview of all the healthcare tools which are available for you to borrow.

Borrowing

Health insurance providers offer a set package of tools. This package includes the healthcare tools that can be borrowed for up to 26 weeks.

Renting

Crutches, rollators, and walkers are offered via rental at Medipoint. If you are a member, you will receive a discount on the rental. Some are even available for free for a certain period of time.

Purchasing

Startpunt does not sell healthcare tools. You can visit a home care store to purchase them. There are various shops where you can buy healthcare tools. A great deal of information is available on the internet. It is a good idea to compare prices. Tools can also be purchased second-hand. For example, take a look at Marktplaats.
